She works with both adults and young adults to provide short-term solution-based therapy, long-term insight-oriented therapy, and therapy that prioritizes a mind-body perspective. Janell's treatment approach is eclectic psychodynamic and tailored to each client's individual needs. She also utilizes mind-body interventions such as meditation and mindfulness to facilitate healing and personal growth.

As a sport performance coach, Janell’s areas of interest are athlete mental health and combining mental skills training with physical exercise to facilitate optimal performance.
